Bideford Soapbox Derby Sunday 25th July 2027
Racing starts on the top of town at the Pannier Market, racing down to Greenville Street, hard right to High Street with a big finish left on the quay. The Quay will be filled activities, entertainment and local food.
Event Schedule
10am – Team scrutineering
11am – Quay opens and team walk down the course
11.30am – Bideford Youth pipe band
11.45am – Clinton the Bench run down
12pm – Derby opens 1st lap
1.30-2.30pm – Lunch break
2.30pm – Return for 2nd lap (subject to change)
4.30pm – Medals and awards presentation

TAXIS
The Taxi ranks will be located outside the post office and in Bridgeland Street.
BUSES
The Buses going to Westward Ho! and Appledore will pick up at the Victoria park bus stop. Buses going to Barnstaple and Ilfracombe will pick up from the Barnstaple street, East the Water bus stop.
