Bideford Soapbox derby is an annual community event held on the 1st Sunday of July in the heart of Bideford North Devon. The soapbox team’s raise money for the Bideford soapbox derby’s chosen local charity. Each team build their contraptions and design and mould them in to marvels that the spectators see on the day.

If you would like to join the event as a non food or beverage stand/stall, you will need your own public liability insurance and risk assessment.

We have free stands available for charities and this is limited to 6.

South West Blood Bikes is a volunteer-led charity providing a vital, free-of-charge, mainly out of hours (evenings, weekends & bank holidays) medical courier service to the NHS & Hospices across Devon. Since forming in 2018 we have saved the NHS & Hospices in Devon over £973,000 in transportation costs.
